Introduction

These steps will walk you through the CD installation of Ubuntu 17.04. They are what I suggest you use each time you are presented with a choice.

Step 0. Boot from CD

Step 1. Instal Ubuntu

Click on "Install Ubuntu"

Step 2. Download Updates, etc.

Check both options.

• Download updates while installing ...
• Install third-party graphics and ...

Click on "Continue"

Step 3. Install Option

Select "Erase disk and install Ubuntu" ...

Select "Use LVM with new Ubuntu install" ...

Click on "Continue"

Step 4. Timezone

Select your location (Los Angeles?)

Click on "Continue"

Step 5. Keyboard Layout

Select you keyboard (English).

Click on "Continue"

Step 7. Your Information

Fill in your information

Click on "Continue"

Step 8. Reboot After Everything is Installed

Remember to remove the CD.
